Networked AV
From media-rich presentations to high-resolution video streaming, Networked AV solutions can deliver dynamic content in a variety of formats to multiple displays and locations. Using the latest compression techniques, digital transmission affords higher quality content delivery, with HD and UHD content distributed effortlessly at low latency.
Utilising IP-based infrastructure, AV systems are no longer constrained by the number of inputs and outputs on a traditional matrix switcher, allowing audio visual data to be transmitted over a standard Ethernet network.
Networked AV Systems
AVoIP
Audio Visual over Internet Protocol allows significantly more flexibility in audio and video signal distribution, with the ability to scale up at lower costs.
The DANTE
Digital Audio Network Through Ethernet system provides synchronisation throughout all the DANTE-enabled devices on a network, conducting the traffic so that the audio remains ‘in sync.

Featured projects
We have worked with a wide range of clients, providing products/services that are second to none.
University of Glasgow
University of Glasgow Wolfson Medical Building, The Hugh Fraser Seminar Room
The system is controlled via an AMX Touch panel control system at the central teaching desk and also via an AMX push-button control panel at each of the 9 student desks.
The system distribution is achieved via the AMX SVSI network distribution system. This gives full flexibility in that every source is attached to an encoder and every display is attached to a decoder.
The university of Strathclyde
The £31 million Strathclyde University Sports Centre
Throughout all of the areas we installed AMX control systems, simple user friendly touch screens programmed to allow users to control all Audio Visual services in the room from one location and providing central control and visibility over the network to the university.
“I found the company very professional and I am given all the information I require. I also have found all engineers to be particularly skilled and experienced and workmanship is of a very high degree.”

What is Networked AV?
AV over IP (or networked AV as it is commonly known) is the transmission of audio, video, and other signals over the internet, LAN, or WAN networks.
Why is Networked AV Important?
Having AV devices on a network makes it possible to centrally manage the devices and recieve remote support. The AV management software allows you to monitor systems and create alerts to stay on top of issues before anyone calls the help desk.
What Are The Advantages of AV Over IP?
As opposed to traditional AV environments, AV over IP refers to the use of standard network equipment to transmit, control and switch video and audio. This allows significantly for more flexibility and less cabling in AV projects.
