Mediascape would like to welcome 2 new employees to the business.
- Frank McAllister and Daniel Bell
Frank McAllister joined us on the 1st July as Corporate Account Manager.
Many of you may know Frank has been working in the Audio-Visual Industry for some 27 years. Starting out with Marcom Scotland Ltd in 1991, he then became the Sales Director for Scotland in 2000 and went through various mergers with Impact Europe and finally with AVMI until 2018.
During this period, he developed a wide variety of clients in the Corporate Sales division, with major clients in the Banking/Financial Sector, Legal, Local Authorities, Government Sector, Oil & Gas, to name but a few. Frank is now delighted to join Mediascape.
Angus and Shona have known Frank for over 25 years, and they all helped raise funds for The Scottish Vision Charity, which was for Blind, Visually Handicapped and Dyslexic Children.
Here is a little bit about Frank's interests:
"I enjoy golf and hill walking which in my case can be one in the same thing! I also enjoy listening to music and as for holidays, it has to be the South of France, Nice in particular."
Daniel Bell also joined us on the 1st July as an AV Engineer.
Daniel has recently moved down to Glasgow from Aberdeen where he worked for Ccomm which is an AV/IT Integrator within the Oil & Gas industry. He wanted to join his partner who is training to become a Paediatric Nurse at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Here is some background information about Daniel:
"I have been interested in the audio-visual industry since I left school at sixteen and found a job with a local company as a junior installation engineer. During the first three years at Ccomm I worked part time and achieved my NC 6 in Electrical Engineering and for the last two years, achieved my HND in Sound Production as well as seven years of experience working in the industry"
Daniel enjoys listening to music, playing guitar and bass and he has recently completed building a custom Stratocaster, which is one of the most famous electric guitars ever.
